Our laid-back, seaside resort town (more like a village, aka "Mount Village") sits between a spectacular surf beach on the one side and a buzzing harbour on the other, making it a popular destination for travellers and holiday-makers alike. Pacific Coast Lodge and Backpackers is the perfect place to base yourself while you explore our beautiful slice of paradise!

Our Mount Maunganui backpacker accommodation is located only 10 minutes from the Tauranga CBD. Take the City Link line and it stops right outside the hostel! Or grab a Lime Scooter for some fresh air while you travel.
